Policies
Registration Fee
A registration fee of $30 for the first child in a family and
$20.00 for each additional child effective for one calendar
year from the date of payment and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Registration
is renewed every August. Registration fees cover your child
on our accident insurance policy.
Monthly Tuition
TUITION IS DUE BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF EACH MONTH. This way
we know if you will be attending classes. Payment made before
the first (during previous month) guarantees the student of
a spot in class. If payment is not received before the first,
we will send a statement with an added $5 BILLING FEE. Payments
can be mailed or dropped in the silver box at the front desk.
INCLUDE THE STUDENT'S FULL NAME AND PAYMENT MONTH TO ENSURE
PROPER CREDIT.
Family Rates
There is a discount for families with two or more students.
FAMILY RATES DO NOT APPLY TO COMPETITIVE TEAM RATES.
Termination Notice
Please give notification to the office if student drops from
classes. This courtesy will prevent you from being charged for
unattended classes and will allow us to place new students.
Returned Checks
If a check is returned to us by the bank, $20 will be charged
to that account. These accounts must be settled in cash or with
a money order.
Make-Up Class
A missed class can be made up by calling the office BEFORE the
class is missed and making an appointment to attend another
class. All make-up classes must be made within one month. NO
REFUNDS or extensions on missed classes. There are NO makeups
for teams.
Inclement Weather
The gym will be closed when the Fort Smith School System is
closed. Special circumstances may allow us to be open when schools
are closed so call for information. Classes will be made up.
Attire
All students must come dressed properly. Boys can wear shorts
and tee-shirts. Girls must wear a leotard. Long hair should
be tied back. Jewelry should not be worn in class. Footwear
is optional.
Parent Observation
Seating is provided for your convenience. However, we do not
encourage parents to stay in the gym during class. It can interfere
with the students' concentration and the transfer of trust to
the instructor. If you do observe classes, please stay in the
specific area and keep any children with you quiet and seated.
There is no seating available in the Dance rooms.
Class Adjustments
We reserve the right to combine or cancel classes with low enrollment.
Suggestions
We encourage everyone to take part in the betterment of our
program. Feel free to talk to the office personnel if you have
suggestions.
General Information
We go to great lengths to be sure our students receive their
appropriate number of lessons and that no one pays for lessons
they don't receive (unless the student is absent). This can
only be accomplished over a given length of time since some
months may have five lessons, some four, some three.
